The academy is involved in a number of productive partnerships which contribute to our continuing success.
These partnerships involve sharing good practice between schools, collaborative professional development of teachers and collaborative development of materials to support teaching and learning.
Our partnerships include:
This is a close bilateral relationship with St Peter’s Collegiate Church of England School, Wolverhampton.
This is a close working partnership of ten successful secondary schools in central Birmingham. Our partner schools are Golden Hillock, Saltley, Yardleys, Small Heath, Bordesley Green Girls, Waverley, Calthorpe Special School, Holy Trinity and Al-Hijrah.
This partnership also includes our local post-16 providers Joseph Chamberlain 6th Form College, Birmingham Metropolitan College, City College and South Birmingham College.
The academy facilitates a strong network involving local primary schools working together with the academy to raise attainment and provide additional learning opportunities for young people in the Highgate Area.
St Alban’s has a close, long-standing relationship with Birmingham Metropolitan College, which delivers a number of our vocational courses at Key Stage four.
