St Albans Academy has a smart new school uniform which our students have helped design and which we expect every student to wear with pride. Our uniform policy will be strictly enforced and students are expected to look smart every day. Academy Uniform - Boys
Black trousers (plain, no jeans or cargo trousers)
White cotton shirt with buttons up to the collar (either short or long sleeves)
School tie
School jumper (obtainable from Clive Mark)
School blazer (obtainable from Clive Mark)
Black socks
Black leather type shoes (shoes that look like trainers are not permitted, nor are any shoes that have any colour, other than black, anywhere on the shoe)
No jewellery is allowed (except a single stud in each ear and a simple, small, flat ring on each hand)

Tracksuit bottoms in academy colours (obtainable from Clive Mark)

If a girl needs to wear a headscarf for PE then, for health and safety reasons it must be a tight fitting elasticated scarf with no loose scarf ends
School Equipment
Students must take responsibility for their equipment and must arrive at lessons with the relevant equipment.
All students must arrive in the academy with their school rucksack. In that rucksack there must be:
· a reading book
· the school planner
· the school pencil case (with 2 pens, 2 pencils, a sharpener, a
ruler and an eraser)
