The academy is non-selective and open to children of all abilities. The academy will admit 87 year 7 students each year until September 2012 when this will rise to 120.

 

We hold open days each autumn for families whose children are interested in applying to the school the following year.  The closing date to apply for year 7 admission for 2010-2011 has now passed. Please contact the academy's admissions officer Mark Gregory on 0121 464 7811 if you would like to find out about late application.

In the case of oversubscription, we want to make sure that the allocations criteria are clear and fair. After admitting children with statements of special educational need where the academy is named on the statement and those in public care, including foster care, students will be admitted in the following order:
