On Friday 6 November, pupils from St Alban's Academy performed a specially written, 30 minute performance of Othello at the RADA’s Vanbrugh Theatre in London. Three other ARK academies Globe, Evelyn Grace and Burlington Danes put on performances on the same evening as part in the nationwide Shakespeare Schools Festival.
The performance was a huge success and the Festival Director gave the cast enthusiastic feedback on their performance.
Lucy Heller, Managing Director of ARK Schools said: “It was really moving to see St Alban's pupils taking on and succeeding in such an ambitious enterprise”.
Principal, David Gould said: “We're very proud of our actors and their back stage supporters. They put on a brilliant performance”
